Media Computing Research Laboratory (Ushijima Lab.)

Our research activities are involved in "computational mechanics", which is one of the important fields in computational science. Our research focuses on the following topics: 1) proposal of new mathematical models based on fluid and solid mechanics, 2) discretization methods for the PDEs, 3) computer algorithms to solve them, and 4) application of the developed computational methods to actual engineering problems with high-performance computers.
