Information Security Laboratory (in accordance with IIMC) (Rikitake Lab.)

Information systems are getting more data-intensive and migrating towards very-large-scale distributed environment, and maintaining the security is critical for the sustainable academic and research activities. At the Information Security Laboratory, our primary missions are planning the policies and procedures of the information security, desiging the information security infrastructure, and supporting the daily operation for defendingthe Campus-wide Information Systems of Kyoto University, through a tight collaboration with the Information Security Management Office of IIMC. We also conduct the research activities to explore the information security technologies for very-large-scale concurrent and parallel systems towards the large-scale cloud computing environment.
