The Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) has pursued collaborative work on the design of the specifications of "T2K Open Supercomputer" with Center for Computational Sciences, University of Tsukuba and Information Technology Center, University of Tokyo. The work is now being extended to further and tighter collaboration for research and education of computer and computational sciences through the cooperative operation of the T2K Open Supercomputers. As the basis of these collaborative activities, three centers stipulated "The Agreement of Collaboration and Cooperation of T2K Centers" on April 1st, 2008.
