Future Classrooms: Kyoto model project

Ogata Laboratory at Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University, starts an empirical research from January 2019 to March 2020, with the Board of Education, Kyoto City, NEC Corporation (NEC) in order to analyze learning data in the context of collaborative learning by using advanced technology such as AI for elementary and junior high schools in Kyoto city.

The photo shows collaborative learning activities. The device on the table records students’ voices and shows their utterances and sentiments in real time.
