About this class

Overview and goal

Instructors teach foundation of high precision computation and high speed computation by computational algorithm and computer architecture, parallel computation techniques, and their application study. Students are provided with practical training about the acceleration technique of sequential calculation, which is the most important in using a computer, and the parallel computation technique on a computer with a multi-core CPU, using C language. The goal of this class is to acquire fundamental skills of computational science.

Operation

This class is offered in cooperation with Graduate School of Informatics and Center for Promotion of Informatics Education.
